  • 16 DEBAUCHEROUS DICOTYLEDONS
Scanned home-made poem-booklet in edition of one (original now damaged and beer-stained). The dicotyledon, invented (I believe) by Thomas A. Clark, is a poem of two words in which the second word substitutes one letter in the first word for another, although (inspired by Ian Hamilton Finlay’s one-word poems of ‘a title plus one word’) I’ve here added a title to create a bastard form of Scottish minimalism fit for such impure subject matter. Special thanks to Luke Allan for introducing me to the form with apologies/acknowledgements for the striking resemblance ‘HUNGOVER’ bears to one of his poems.

  • URSONATE/01SONATE
A ‘translation’ of Kurt Schwitters’s epic sound poem URSONATE by Google, presented in bilingual form in the original score. Follow the link for extended introduction and link to PDF.

  • Poem for Vladimir Umanets (pin-up edition)
Poem for Yellowist Vladimir Umanets, who at the time of this poem’s composition was serving a custodial sentence for claiming Rothko’s Black on Maroon ‘a potential piece of yellowism’. See also jpg/gif version here.

  • The Last Sentence of Every Film Review (excluding Critics’ Choice) in Two Editions of The Sunday Times Culture Supplement TV Guide (3rd-16th April 2011)
    Self-explanatory.
